EU DELEGATION IN EGYPT LAUNCHED THE OPENING CONFERENCE OF THE “CLIMATE WEEK”
On Tuesday 25th of September at 9:00 am, the European Union Delegation in Egypt launched the opening conference of the “Climate Week” at the National Museum of Civilization.
The EU is promoting each year a Climate Diplomacy Week, to highlight at international level climate change objectives, while stressing the links with other Sustainable Development Goals such as green finance, renewable energy, sustainable land use, poverty eradication and clean transport.
In Egypt, the EU is holding several activities to raise awareness about climate change issues and presents the results of the bilateral cooperation with Egypt in this area.
