EURO-MEDITERRANEAN COOPERATION SUMMER SCHOOL – REGISTRATION OPEN
In the framework of EBSOMED, GACIC co-organizes the 4th edition of the Euro-Mediterranean Cooperation Summer School – Med BSO Academy that will be held in Cagliari, Sardinia, Italy from the 8th till the 9th of November 2018. The training is co-organizes also by BUSINESSMED, ASCAME and OpenMed Association.
The Academy aims at improving exchanges of competences and relations between BSOs interested in co-operation programs and projects. Target groups are BSOs executives.
The main objectives are:
improve competences and relations of BSO executives interested in Euro-Mediterranean cooperation
share the Euro-Mediterranean projects experiences among BSO executives and trainers
start the concrete design of proposals under the new Euro-Mediterranean funding instruments, in particular ENI CBC MED 2014-2020
During the Summer School, Project Cycle Management and Logical Framework approaches will be used as main working tools. The working approach is based on the “learning by doing” methodologies (i.e. drafting a project idea.

The training initiative is organized within the framework of the EU-funded project EBSOMED. Enhancing Business Support Organisations and Business Networks in the Southern Neighbourhood is a 4-year project co-funded by the European Union up to 80% and coordinated by BUSINESSMED (Union of Mediterranean Confederations of Enterprises) as part of a consortium of six partners. The Project aims at strengthening the capacity building of Intermediary Organizations coming from the 10 ENI South Partner Countries (Algeria, Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, the occupied Palestinian territory, Syria, Tunisia).
The course is organized and covered by EBSOMED and co-financed by the German-Arab Chamber of Industry and Commerce (GACIC), the Association of the Mediterranean Chambers of Commerce and Industry (ASCAME), partners of EBSO project, and OpenMed, affiliate.
After the course travel and accommodation costs of participants attendees will be reimbursed by BUSINESMED up to 80% of the eligible costs and upon presentation of the reimbursement documents.
