CAGLIARI | EURO-MEDITERRANEAN COOPERATION SUMMER SCHOOL 2016
27- JUNE -2016
Under the topic “Design your MED Initiative” the second Euro-Mediterranean Cooperation Summer School 2016 will be held in Cagliari, Italy from the 27th June to the 1st July 2016. The event is organized by OpenMed Association and MaPE – University of Cagliari, with the support of ASCAME, CCIA-BML, CEEBA and Re.C.O.Med, and the contribution of Fondazione di Sardegna.

The aim of the Euro-Mediterranean Cooperation Summer School 2016 is to better connect different public and private participants of Euro-Mediterranean programs in terms of competences as well as relations. The experience of the participants in the field of applying for funds within the Euro-Mediterranean area can be exchanged and will create the chance to improve the own skills and widen the own knowledge. This leads to a better understanding of the essentials within the Euro-Mediterranean cooperation for all participants.

The target groups are representatives of the Euro-Mediterranean organisations and public and private officials and experts of all career levels from the area. A total number of 25 to 30 participants are expected to join the summer school.

Among others an external trainer, an official project assessor experienced in European programs, will share information about the most important things within the process of applying for funding. Moreover, the Project Cycle Management and Logical Framework approaches will be learnt and practiced through learning by doing methods.

Using this accumulated and recently acquired knowledge, a goal of the days in Italy is to have at least four initiative proposals for current or upcoming financing chances.
