On the 4th of November, the EU-funded INTECMED Project in Egypt hosted one of the “TECHNE Summit” Side Events at the INTECMED HUB in Alexandria. The event was organized by SEKEM Development Foundation in cooperation with CEEBA and the Arab Academy of Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AAST). Dr Heba El Ashery, Dr Jane Hanna and Dr Hany Ayad, mentors from the AAST Entrepreneurship Center for CEEBA’s mentoring programme, held an excellent interactive talk with the title “Networking skills and how to pitch your ideas in less than a minute”, followed by a panel discussion on how to tackle the significant barriers between #technical and #business mindset and how it can benefit from this diversity.
Incubators for innovation and technological transfer in the Mediterranean – INTECMED – is an ENI CBC MED Programme project that aims to develop an integrated Mediterranean ecosystem that facilitates technological transfer and commercialization of research results while strengthening linkages among research, industry, and private sector and citizen.
