We just returned from an energizing kick-off meeting held in Rome on 14–15 January 2026 for the MEDinCHAMBERS project—and we’re excited to share what’s brewing! 🌍✂️
CEEBA joined forces with partners from Italy, Greece, Spain, Tunisia, Turkey, and Egypt to launch this ambitious Interreg NEXT MED initiative. The goal? To build a stronger, more sustainable future for the Mediterranean’s Textile, Clothing, Leather, and Footwear (TCLF) industry.
Over two productive days, we mapped out how to create a real Mediterranean alliance of Chambers of Commerce. This network will help businesses adopt circular and energy-efficient practices, launch innovation hubs (Living Labs), and boost collaboration across borders. It’s all about making the region’s fashion sector more resilient, competitive, and green.
We left Rome feeling inspired and connected—ready to roll up our sleeves and start building this alliance together. Shoutout to our hosts for the smooth organization and memorable Italian hospitality!
