Are you an experienced textile, sustainability, eco-design or digitalisation professional looking to make a practical impact on the Egyptian fashion industry?
CEEBA – Confederation of Egyptian European Business Associations is inviting tax-registered experts and companies in Egypt to apply for the MATRIX project Call for a Local Facilitator and Mentors, supporting Egyptian textile and fashion SMEs in their transition from linear to more circular and sustainable business practices.
Four Opportunities Available
Lot 1 – Local Facilitator
Engage SMEs throughout their learning journey, support pathway selection, facilitate workshops and help turn learning into practical action.
Lot 2 – Mentor: Measuring the Impact
Support SMEs with water, carbon and energy footprint measurement, LCA and resource efficiency, and help develop concrete improvement plans.
Lot 3 – Mentor: Digital Tools in Eco-design
Guide SMEs in sustainable product design, 3D/virtual prototyping, digital tools and AI-supported design.
Lot 4 – Mentor: Ecolabelling
Help SMEs prepare for relevant sustainability standards, certifications and ecolabels, including gap analysis and documentation.
Selected mentors will work directly with SMEs for up to 12 months, providing hands-on, one-to-one support and helping them achieve measurable results.
Who Can Apply?
Senior experts and companies based in Egypt with:
- At least 10 years of relevant professional experience
- Strong experience working with or advising SMEs in the textile and garment sector
- Relevant technical expertise depending on the lot
- Ability to issue electronic invoices through the Egyptian Tax Authority
