Barcelona, Spain – CEEBA – Confederation of Egyptian European Business Associations was proud to take part in the MEDinCHAMBERS Bootcamp and Matchmaking Study Visits, held in Barcelona from 15–17 September, bringing together TCLF professionals to exchange knowledge, explore sustainable production and discover innovative approaches across the Mediterranean.
CEEBA’s trainer Aziz Elsalmawy (MBA), together with Ahmed Sabry from JeansCar and Jiselle Handbags (https://jiselle.net/), shared valuable hands-on experience from Egypt’s textile, leather and leather-products sector.
Participants appreciated the workshop and the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of sustainable textile, clothing and leather production, quality and products from an industry perspective.
Study Visit to the Igualada Leather Cluster
The programme also included a study visit to the Igualada Leather Cluster, with visits to a tanning company, the Igualada Leather Museum, the A3 Leather Innovation Centre and a local wastewater treatment facility — offering insights into the sector’s heritage, innovation, sustainability and circular solutions.
