Dr. Aya Mohamed Mahmoud, Associate Professor of Pharmaceutics and Industrial Pharmacy, has kicked off the 1st of a series of workshops, giving a highly informative session on “Honeybee Cosmetics and Therapeutic applications”. Participants learned how to produce hand and facial creams, lip tints, honey & beeswax soap, and decorative ornaments.
The training was part of a total of 10 MedBEESinessHubs workshops providing technical and practical information on handcrafting honeybee products such as gifts, accessories, furniture applications, and the use of honeybee in cooking and food production.
The second part of the session took place online on the 25th of January and focused on “Building strong branding in bees’ business ecosystem” and learning about Pricing strategies for bee products.
