Med Pearls Opens the Call for Proposals for ICT solutions applied to Slow Tourism!

Why apply?

The Med Pearls project performed an ICT needs assessment among the Travel Agencies developing Slow Tourism products, and the following areas of ICT solutions were found as priorities:

·      Gamification

·      Virtual/Augmented reality

·      Digital Booklets / Online Tourism Guides / Geolocation Solutions

·      Promotional Tools

If you are an ICT MSME, start-up or an entrepreneur and have a proposal that incorporates the following to support Slow Tourism products, you can get Subgrants up to 25.000 EUR! 

Your proposals must support the products in one of the project pilot areas in Alexandria, Egypt. (Lakes Mariout & Edku and the Al-Montazah district).

Egyptian applicants must reside in one of the eligible areas in Egypt: Ad Daqahliyah, Al Buhayrah, Al Iskandanyah, Al Isma’iliyah, Ash Sharquiyah, Bur Sa’id, Dumyat, Kafr ash Shaykh, Marsa Matruh.
