The STAPLES Project (PRIMA Partnership) is looking for artists based in Egypt and Morocco to create original artworks live during the STAPLES Validation Multi-stakeholder Dialogues:
- Cairo, Egypt: 9 November 2026, 09:00–17:30 (local time)
- Rabat, Morocco: 1 December 2026, 09:00–17:30 (local time)
Up to 4 artists — two based in Egypt and two based in Morocco — will be selected to transform discussions on agriculture, water, sustainability, resilience, food security and human development into engaging visual artworks created during the events.
Artists may propose painting, drawing, illustration, sculpture, mixed media, graphic recording, visual facilitation or other visual formats suitable for live creation.
Applications from women artists are especially encouraged, and the STAPLES Project aims to ensure that at least half of the selected artists are women.
Artist Fee and Participation Support
Each selected artist will receive a €1,000 fee for the live artistic creation during the national dialogue and participation in the STAPLES Final Event.
Up to €250 may also be available to cover eligible travel within Egypt or Morocco and material costs, subject to prior approval and supporting documentation.
Selected artists will be invited to present their artworks at the STAPLES Final Event in Barcelona in April 2027, with travel and accommodation costs covered by the project.
