Italian-Egyptian Round Table Spurs Collaboration in Renewable Energy and Beyond

Hosted by the Italian Embassy in Cairo and facilitated by Dr. Alaa Ezz, Secretary-General of CEEBA, a distinguished panel convened featuring esteemed dignitaries including H.E. Adolfo Urso, Italian Minister of Enterprise and Made in Italy, alongside H.E. Dr. Mohamed Shaker, Egyptian Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy. The event was graced by the presence of H.E. Michele Quaroni, Italian Ambassador to Egypt, Waleed Gamal El Din, Chairman of Suez Canal Economic Zone, Hossam Heiba, Chairman of Investment Authority, Ayman Soliman, Chairman of the Sovereign Fund of Egypt, and Khaled Abou Bakr, Chairman of Egypt Italy Business Council.

This high-profile roundtable gathered representatives from 60 leading companies from both nations, fostering constructive dialogue on collaboration opportunities in renewable energy, green hydrogen technologies, and bolstering interconnectivity between the European Union, Egypt, and the broader African continent.
